Sara Zerilli, from Millstone Township, New Jersey, is a rising senior vocal performance major at Manhattan School of Music studying with Mignon Dunn. Performance highlights include Suor Angelica (La Principessa) with Operallora in New Jersey, Il tabarro (Midinette) with Operallora, L’incoronazione di Poppea (Fortuna/Famigliari) with MSM, L’incoronazione di Poppea (Ottavia) with Saluzzo Opera Academy, and Amahl and the Night Visitors (Ensemble) with Boheme Opera. She has performed numerous opera scenes including Carmen, La Cenerentola, Norma (Adalgisa), Hansel und Gretel (Mutter), Hamlet (Gertrude), Falstaff (Quickly), Dialogues des Carmélites (Mother Marie), Die Zauberflöte (Third Lady), and Idomeneo (Idamante). Sara was an alto soloist for MSM Chamber Choir and Lab Chorus. She was an alto soloist in J. S. Bach’s St. John Passion and Vivaldi’s Gloria through MSM. She participated in NJ All Shore Chorus from 2017-2020, was a featured soloist in 2019 and 2020, as well as third chair alto. Ms. Zerilli performed with the NJ All State Chorus in 2018 and 2019, where she was first chair alto and a finalist for the NJ Governor’s Award. Sara is very excited to be a part of EnsembleNYC!
