Benjamin Schott, baritone, wears many hats: he’s a singer, a teacher, performer, an avid concertgoer, a recording artist, husband, and father. Ben is a New York City native and attended Juilliard for both pre-college and his Bachelor of Arts degree. Ben has performed with a number of performing arts institutions including the Berkshire Opera Company, the Chautauqua Institute, the Collegiate Chorale, and served as soloist/section leader with the choirs of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Stamford, Connecticut, and St. Paul’s on the Green in Norwalk, Connecticut. As an educator with the New York City Department of Education for over 15 years, Ben currently leads the music department as Assistant Principal at the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts. He is thrilled to be a part of EnsembleNYC and its mission to bring hope to the people of NYC!
