Jennifer Robinson is a 21-year-old lyric soprano, whose talent was recently acknowledged in the Metropolitan Opera’s Laffont Competition, where she earned an encouragement award at the New England regionals. She stood out as the youngest participant in this competition.
In recent months, she has embraced various operatic roles, including Musetta in La Boheme, La Princesse in L’enfant, Lauretta and Nella in Gianni Schicchi, Gilda in Rigoletto, and she’s thrilled to be portraying Mariuccia in I Due Timidi at Chautauqua Institute in the coming summer.
Beyond the operatic stage, Jennifer has appeared as a soloist in concerts throughout New York and New Jersey. Her repertoire includes masterworks such as Mozart’s Requiem, Faure’s Requiem, Handel’s Messiah, and Bach’s St. John Passion. She currently studies at Manhattan School of Music.
